Our Main Areas of focus are:

  • At Inspired, we strongly believe in the power of the collective. It is only by raising our voices that we can inflict change - this has been proven to us time and time again.

    Part of our work involves appealing to our members of Parliament and concerned human rights bodies by writing letters and arranging meetings with them to discuss the deteriorating human rights situation in Iran and the ways in which they can help the people.

    You can add your voice to this ever growing campaign by signing our petition addressed to the UN Secretary General, urging him to put pressure on the Iranian regime to stop executions in Iran.

  • We assist youth – particularly those from minority backgrounds and dual cultures who are vulnerable to extremist ideologies – and help them integrate into society and make informed choices for a successful future.

    We recognize these youths' unique challenges as they navigate between the dual cultures of family and society and strive to find their rightful place in the world.

    Through comprehensive educational programmes and events, we equip them with the knowledge and tools to recognise and avoid the risks associated with extremism. Our approach emphasizes the value of appreciation and integration within our multicultural society, encouraging individuals to embrace their dual cultural identities confidently. By doing so, we empower them to make informed choices that foster peace, inclusivity, and social cohesion.

  • We provide counselling, befriending, coaching (including ADHD coaching) advice, and support services to empower disadvantaged women.

    Through our various programmes and initiatives, we offer practical assistance and create opportunities for women to connect with one another. Our community gatherings and networking events provide a safe and supportive environment where these women can form meaningful connections and build lasting friendships. By fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie, we enable them to share experiences, offer support, and learn valuable skills from one another. These connections and friendships profoundly impact their lives, leading to personal growth, increased self-confidence, and a stronger support network that positively changes their trajectory for the better.

  • We offer advice and advocacy services to refugees, assisting them with their community integration.

    We provide valuable guidance and resources and facilitate community events to help them connect with others and establish a sense of belonging. We aim to create a welcoming environment through these initiatives where they can form meaningful connections, share experiences, and build a support network.

    In addition to community engagement, we recognise that navigating a new society and culture can be overwhelming. Inspired is committed to ensuring that these individuals know and understand their rights. We provide comprehensive information and guidance on legal rights, access to healthcare, educational opportunities, and other essential services. By empowering them with this knowledge, we strive to alleviate the challenges they may face and help them navigate their new lives with confidence and resilience.

  • Inspired promotes Human Rights as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). We collaborate with other women's and human rights groups to raise awareness about human rights and work towards preventing violent religious extremism.

    Inspired recognizes the principles of the UDHR as the bedrock of freedom, justice, and peace across the globe.

    One critical area of focus for us is countering violent religious extremism. We recognize that such extremism poses a grave threat to human rights, often leading to acts of violence, discrimination, and intolerance. Through education, dialogue, and community engagement, we work tirelessly to prevent the spread of extremist ideologies and promote a world where religious differences are celebrated rather than exploited.

  • We provide support to empower individuals with disabilities and promote their inclusion in the community.

    Through a holistic approach, we strive to break down barriers and create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. By collaborating with local communities, businesses, and educational institutions, we actively promote awareness, education, and advocacy for disability rights. We aim to ensure that individuals with disabilities receive the assistance they need and thrive as active contributors to our vibrant community. We champion a world where diversity is celebrated, and every voice is heard.

  • We offer assistance and companionship to isolated elderly individuals, especially those who face language barriers through social engagement activities;

    We are dedicated to alleviating isolation among the elderly. We understand that language barriers often exacerbate their struggles, making it harder for them to communicate effectively and leading to a downward spiral of isolation and depression. To address this, we provide companionship and support by delivering meals and sharing lunchtime with them, even if it's just for a short while. Additionally, recognising that many elderly individuals also face mobility challenges, we help in transporting them to and from their destinations. These efforts collectively contribute to their overall well-being, helping them better cope with the various issues they may encounter.

    We organise community events that further promote social connection and engagement for the elderly. These events are vibrant gatherings where we serve food and host cultural programs featuring music and performances. Creating these inclusive and joyous occasions provides opportunities for the elderly to interact, enjoy enriching experiences, and get out of isolation. Through these community events, we strive to enhance their overall well-being and enrich their lives with shared cultural celebrations and meaningful connections.
