Commemorating the 2nd Anniversary of the September 2022 Uprisings in Iran

On 14th September, Iranian communities gathered at Downing Street to commemorate the second anniversary of the September 2022 uprisings in Iran.

This rally was attended by members of different Iranian associations from across England, including members and volunteers of Inspired. Other associations included, Association of Anglo-Iranian Women, Anglo-Iranian Youth Association and Association of Women and Youth Against Fundamentalism.

Showing their solidarity with the Iranian people, members of the Ukrainian community also joined the rally.

The crowds also showed their solidarity with the protests currently taking place in Iran, by nurses, labourers, and retirees, in addition to the “No to Executions” hunger-strike carried out by prisoners of conscience every Tuesday across Iran.
